Couldn’t leave this cute footed vintage silver plate box behind- even though it has a small dent on right and it doesn’t close all the way- it still has so much charm and character. Embossed lion on lid. Looks like it is silver plate over copper. English. Not sure of its exact use- perhaps an ink well? Use for cotton balls or lipsticks. A cute box to corral all dots of things!
