I couldn’t leave this fun and happy piece behind even though it has a chip on one corner! Turn that corner to the back and it’s not noticeable . Thinking mid century . Marked Thomas. Bavaria. . Love the colorful polka dots! Some wear to the gold finish consistent with age. Cute shelf accessory!! Add a fun whimsical touch. Could be used to stow trinkets. Perhaps a sugar bowl.
