Vintage Alabaster Cigarette Case/ Jar

Highly collectible and popular- are these alabaster boxes!!  Italy. This is a pretty vintage one probably to stow cigarettes back in the day! Love this warm shade of sunny yellow with beautiful lines and texture! I spy a small crack on top but it doesn’t appear to penetrate through. This could be used to hold straws or stirrers. Beautiful displayed on its own.  Gold metal rim and hinge.
