A beautiful pair of vintage bird pictures!! These are Chinese paper cut outs. They are made by cutting designs in paper with scissors or knives. This is a traditional folk art known as Jianzhi. Wonderfully done!! Nice burnt or and color with lots of textures!! Matted - black frames. Minor chips to frames consistent with age. One hangs vertically- one hangs horizontally. A nice pair to hang anywhere!
